Maasai Marra Tribe 2020 - Kenya National Reserve
Last week I had the chance to go back to Kenya after my last visit in 10 years. Was so looking forward to visit the Maasai Mara Tribe again & capture the essence of their traditions. It’s always the case that I bond with one or two members of the tribe. For some reason it is their energy and the connection I develop with them. It is a fun and a deep connection where I can learn from them & they learn from me. I captured a few images in my short visit & I am very happy to be sharing the series of images with you. #CouclazMuse #CouclazMaasai

The Maasai are well known by their jumping dance called Adamu . I love the fact that they are known by the people who see tomorrow because they jump so high : ) The Adamu is a sort of mating dance, a way for a young Maasai man who has just become a warrior to demonstrate his strength and attract a bride.
say Hi to these 2 young gentlemen. John and Dan :) - John, up & Dan down the tree.
Through my brief stay at the village I was able to get to know them & ask the question of what the Maasai like in the modern era?
The mix between bow & arrows and cellphones are just crazy!
The Maasai are one of the tribes who hold on to their traditional way of life until today. They live in houses made of mud and their life depend on raising cows and sheep.Even though they live near cities with technology, cars and sky scrapers, But today's generation juggle between embracing modernization & preserving their tradition and culture.
